Ready to find out what solar is really all about?
Many homeowners assume going solar costs a lot of money out of pocket or that it won’t be worth the hassle, and then go back to paying whatever their utility company asks with zero control and no predictability. Hi. I’m Andy.
I’m Andy Landsman, and I help homeowners across Bergen County, NJ and Rockland County, NY decide whether solar actually makes sense for their roof — before they ever sign anything.
I’m not a call center and I’m not a door-knocker. I run the math on your actual electric bill, line by line, and give you a straight answer. You get one local person — me — who picks up the phone.
I’ve helped hundreds of homeowners in NJ and NY go solar since 2005.
If solar doesn’t belong on your roof, I’ll tell you. That’s the whole point.
Serving Bergen County, NJ & Rockland County, NY
I work with homeowners throughout Bergen County, New Jersey and Rockland County, New York — including: Hackensack, Paramus, Ridgewood, Mahwah, Nyack, Nanuet, New City & Pearl River.
Whether you’re on PSE&G or JCP&L in New Jersey, or Orange & Rockland in New York, I’ll run the numbers against your actual utility rate — not a national average.

The Core Deal
The company owns it. The company fixes it.
The Core Deal
About the federal tax credit: The 30% federal ITC on home solar ended December 31, 2025. If your system was installed before then, you may still claim it on a future return. For new installations in 2026, the state-level picture above is what matters.
Honesty First, Always
- Solar is a big decision, and you deserve real answers — not a pitch.
- We walk you through everything at your pace, so you feel confident, not pressured.
- Whether you move forward with us or not, you’ll leave knowing exactly where you stand.
- No jargon, no fine print surprises — just clear, straightforward conversations.
- My #1 goal is that every homeowner walks away fully educated. I’d rather spend extra time making sure you understand what’s actually on the table than have you walk away with doubts — or worse, bad information from people who don’t know the full picture.
- An informed homeowner makes the best decision. That’s the whole point.
Questions homeowners ask me
Many people believe you shouldn’t go solar without redoing your roof first. Sometimes that’s true — but not always. I’ll check the condition and age of your roof before recommending anything.
A real concern, especially in NJ commuter towns. Solar generally adds value to a home — published analyses have put the premium in the low single digits, though it depends heavily on the local market.
I don’t door-knock, I don’t tell you solar is free, I don’t pressure you, and I’ll show you the math line-by-line on your own bill.
In a temperate climate with significant cloud cover and a season of only 6–8 hours of direct sunlight, the break-even point can take much of the system’s lifespan. I’ll be honest about what your specific roof and bill support.
If you’re in NJ and own a detached single-family home, your HOA can’t ban solar — it’s state law (the New Jersey Solar Rights Act, N.J.S.A. 45:22A-48.2).
As of December 31, 2025, the 30% federal tax credit is no longer available to homeowners who buy their solar systems. I’ll walk you through which incentives still apply to your situation, including New York’s state credit where relevant.
